For this month's Stark Spotlight, we're at the box office opening of Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical. For this event, we worked with our pals at BarCraft to build this custom boat bar for Jimmy Buffett to hand out cheeseburgers for awaiting fans purchasing tickets. Transforming this frigid NYC winter day into a tropical fiesta was well worth bearing the chill -- by the end, we were sipping margaritas and toasting to the show's success! Thanks as always to DKC/O&M for trusting us with this fun project. Make sure to get your tickets to see Margaritaville, beginning previews Feb 16!
Last month, Stark Production Group collaborated with David Beahm Experiences to install this magnificent winter wreath in the lobby of The Durst Organization's One Bryant Park (The fourth tallest skyscraper in NYC!). Jeremy Shepard from SPG was on the scene to give you this inside look.
Each month, Stark Production Group will take you on location, shining a spotlight on some of our hardworking team and showcasing a few of our amazing clients. This month, we're featuring SPG's Founder & President, Jeremy Shepard, and our Creative Director, Jaron Caldwell as they take you on the scene of Bruce Springsteen's Broadway debut, our offices at Spring Place in TriBeCa and a holiday installation we recently completed at The Durst Organization's One Bryant Park. Check back every month to see more Stark Spotlights on our work and team.
Last week, Stark Production Group embarked on a trip to Chicago to build a custom Step & Repeat for GQ's exclusive stretch tailoring suiting event at the Hugo Boss store on Michigan Ave. The event was hosted by Chicago Cubs Shortstop, Addison Russell and GQ's Executive Stylist, Brett Fahlgren. SPG has all the right ingredients for the perfect, seamless, shine-free, not-one-wrinkle step and repeat. Send us an email and we'll let you in on our secret!
Last week, we had the great thrill of designing and producing the Opening Night front-of-house for SPRINGSTEEN ON BROADWAY at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Yeah - you got that right - THE BOSS just made his Broadway debut and the scene was hawt! For this opening, leading PR firm DKC/O&M gave Stark Production Group the task of creating a non-traditional set-up for VIPs arriving before the show, followed by a different set-up for Springsteen's departure from the stage door. We knew there would be, what we like to call, "controlled mayhem." So, with lots of fans and security in the mix, we wanted to create a plan that could change at any moment's notice, if need be. Instead of a red carpet, we covered 350 feet of barricades with the show's art and placed them all over the block, creating a world of Springsteen up and down West 48th Street. Have a look at some of a photos from the night!

NY Fashion Week went by fast and furiously, just the way we like it, with no sleep. Not only did we work on a fine mix of fabulous fashion events (including the launch of Cartier's new fragrance, L'Envol Cartier), we also worked on a wedding, birthday party and gala - all in one week. Now that we're up for air, here are some shots featuring many of Stark Production Group's tireless services. We're always up for any challenge. As we say, "You Ask, We Build."
